The Ritz Valley Story

Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani have no shortage of hotels, but most of them are built for volume – large properties designed to move a lot of guests through quickly. Ritz Valley took the opposite approach. The resort is tucked into Avakali village, close to Parsi Mala, in a pocket of the hill station that still feels like farmland: strawberry fields, quiet lanes, and a valley view that doesn’t need a fancy viewing deck to appreciate – it’s right there from the rooms and the common areas.

The idea behind the resort is simple: keep the property small enough that service stays personal, keep the food kitchen entirely vegetarian and genuinely well-made rather than an afterthought, and let the location do most of the talking.
